MICU PRINZZ

Victor Schiesser, named Micu Prinzz, started in Bucharest in 2016 with a mixtape recorded on a phone. The 2017 self-titled debut helped chart the early Romanian cloud-rap mainstream. Things turned darker through 5D and H.OS/T before the 2023 sprawl Ordo Ab Chao. PARTYNEXTDOOR atmospheres run through the work. The cadences, the references, the slang are all local.

The nine tracks playing here are unreleased, moodier, stranger than the singles. CHEWBACCAOG, CEO, Amapiano. Half catalog, half private joke. It sounds like an artist working through ideas without an audience watching, which is exactly why we wanted them.
