ABOUT · TINCT
A magazine for people who make things.
TINCT is a youth-culture magazine from Bucharest. We cover music, fashion, art, tech, and the lives behind them, for a generation that doesn't separate one from the next.
What TINCT is
The name comes from the Latin tinctus, meaning dyed, colored, stained. It is about transformation, about how a single idea, song, or movement can color everything around it.
We believe the best stories sit at the intersection of disciplines, and we report from the overlaps. We cover people before they are everywhere, take the reader seriously as culturally literate, and stay honest about contradictions instead of smoothing them over.
TINCT is the first phase of a media company, not just a magazine. Editorial leads; audio, video, and interactive work follow.

What we stand for
- Substance over surfaceEvery piece should leave you knowing something you didn't. If anyone could have written it, we don't run it.
- Intersections, not silosA musician profile is also a fashion story. A tech piece is also a culture piece. We live in the overlaps.
- Global-localScenes from Bucharest, Sao Paulo, Lagos, Seoul. Hyperlocal detail, global relevance, not just London and New York.
- Honest complexityWe cover hard things without preaching. We present the tension instead of forcing a take.
- Slow over viralFewer, better pieces. Each one worth bookmarking. Quality readers over mass traffic.
